Rodeo Gutter Solutionists

Gutters for Rodeo, from the bay shore to the hillside streets

Rodeo is one of the older towns on San Pablo Bay, and its homes show it. Nearly 78 percent were built before 1980 and the median home dates to 1972, so many houses still carry gutters that have seen decades of winters. The nearby Martinez station averages about 19.4 inches of rain a year, nearly all of it in the cool months. Streets climb from the shoreline near the marina into rolling hills like View Pointe, so rain picks up speed on the way down, and a gutter that overflows on a slope can send water straight toward a neighbor’s yard or a foundation.

Mohammad Awadalla and Syed Rizwan own The Brothers That Just Do Gutters San Ramon, and our crews travel to Rodeo from our base in Livermore. We form seamless aluminum, copper and galvalume gutters at the house in 5, 6 and 7 inch sizes, hand-clean every trough and flush each downspout, repair leaks, sags and fascia, install BroGuard stainless micro-mesh, and run underground drainage to move water off sloped and flat lots alike. Maintenance plans keep you on schedule. Licensed under CSLB #1115646, insured, and rated 4.9 stars by Google reviewers.

Why the Brothers

Why Rodeo Homeowners Call the Brothers

01Older systems, set right

On Rodeo homes from the 1950s to the 1970s, we reseal, rehang or replace tired gutters before winter storms find the weak spots.

02Runoff planned for slopes

We size downspouts and route them where hillside water can leave safely, through extensions or buried lines, instead of across a walkway or toward a wall.

03Formed curbside

Each length is rolled out on our truck at your home, so the gutter runs unbroken from corner to corner with no factory joints.

04Locally owned, close by

This franchise is owned by Mohammad Awadalla and Syed Rizwan and run from Livermore. Calls to (925) 905-9555 go to the crew that will do your job.

“I had leaking gutters that needed sealing. The Brothers sent out a person to do a quote. The person was well knowledged about gutters. I was already thinking of putting in gutter guards and they proposed a guard that would work with my current gutters… The two installers were friendly and explained everything clearly.”

Rodeo Gutter Questions, Answered

How often should I have my Rodeo gutters cleaned?

Twice a year suits most Rodeo homes: early fall before the rains, and spring once trees have dropped. Homes under large trees or beside open hillside may need a third visit. Rodeo sits in a wetter part of the region than the inland valley, with nearby Martinez averaging close to 20 inches a year, so a gutter that is half full in November will overflow in the first real storm.

My house was built in the 1960s. Should I replace the gutters?

If you see rust, open seams, sagging runs or water stains on the fascia, replacement is usually the better value. Most Rodeo homes were built before 1980, so many systems are well past their prime. We remove the old gutters, repair any rotted wood behind them, and form new seamless aluminum or copper on-site with downspouts sized to your roof.

Where should downspouts drain on a hillside lot?

Somewhere the water can leave without causing trouble: away from the foundation, off walkways and not straight onto a slope that could erode. On hillside lots in View Pointe and similar streets, that usually means extensions to a stable spot or a buried line to an approved outlet. We look at your grade during the walkthrough and recommend the safest path.

Do you serve all of Rodeo?

Yes. We work throughout Rodeo, including View Pointe, the streets off Parker Avenue, the area near the marina and Lone Tree Point, and homes around the Lefty Gomez Recreation Center. We also serve Hercules and Pinole. If you want to confirm your address first, call (925) 905-9555 before booking.

Do gutter guards make sense in Rodeo?

For homes under trees or near dry grass, yes. BroGuard stainless micro-mesh blocks leaves, twigs and blown grass while rain passes through, so the downspouts stay open during winter storms. Because it is metal, it will not melt or burn, and it keeps dry debris from collecting where embers could land during fire season.
