Birdland Gutter Solutionists
Gutters for Birdland’s 1960s ranch and two-story homes
Birdland is the Pleasanton neighborhood where the streets are named for birds: Raven Road, Canary Drive, Blackbird Way and Woodthrush Road. It sits between Hopyard Road on the west, Santa Rita Road on the east and Valley Avenue on the south, with Ken Mercer Sports Park along its north side. The land was Casterson family farmland until 1963, when Al Casterson sold most of it to Morrison Homes, which filled it with single-story ranch homes and two-story colonials. In census tract 4506.04, which takes in Birdland, 67 percent of homes were built between 1960 and 1979. The Pleasanton 0.4 ESE station, a NOAA gauge just south of Valley Avenue, averages 19.39 inches of rain a year.
The Brothers That Just Do Gutters San Ramon is owned by Mohammad Awadalla and Syed Rizwan, a family team, and Birdland is a short run across the valley from our Livermore base. Every new gutter is formed at the house in aluminum, copper or galvalume, sized 5, 6 or 7 inches to fit the roof. We also clean runs and flush downspouts, fix leaks, sags and rotted fascia, fit BroGuard stainless micro-mesh, and lay underground drainage when roof water keeps collecting by the slab. We hold CSLB license #1115646, carry full insurance, and have 4.9 stars on Google.
Sixty years on, Birdland’s streets are lined with trees that were saplings when Morrison Homes sold the first houses, and every fall they fill the gutters. The two-story colonials add a second problem: an upper gutter that overflows dumps its water onto the lower roof and the gutter below it, so one clog becomes two. On flat valley lots, a downspout that ends at the corner of the house leaves rain sitting against the foundation instead of carrying it out to the yard or street.

Why the Brothers
Why Birdland Homeowners Call the Brothers
Birdland’s colonials put gutters two floors up. Our crews bring the right ladders and set them so nothing rests on the lower gutter.
If a few hangers and seams are the whole problem, we repair them. If the run is done, you see repair and replacement side by side in writing.
The gutter machine rides on our truck, so each run is formed to the length of your eave with no factory seams halfway along.
Mohammad Awadalla and Syed Rizwan run the franchise from Livermore, one valley over. Call (925) 905-9555 and the local team picks up.

It depends on what we find on the walkthrough. Most Birdland homes date to the 1960s and 1970s, and many have had the gutters patched more than once. If the seams drip, the run sags between hangers or the fascia is soft, seamless replacement usually makes sense. If the trouble is a few joints or a bent corner, a repair will hold. We put both numbers on paper so you can choose.
Yes. Two-story colonials are a big part of Birdland, and we work on both levels. We clean the upper gutter so it stops dumping onto the lower roof, check that the upper downspouts empty where the lower gutter can take the water, and form any new runs on-site to the exact length of each eave.
Two to four times a year, depending on the trees over your roof, and the fall visit before the rain is the one that matters most. The Pleasanton 0.4 ESE station averages 19.39 inches a year, with 11.38 inches falling from December through February. Homes under big street trees should add a midwinter or spring visit. BroGuard mesh cuts down on full clean-outs.
Not always, but it helps when water collects along the foundation or across a patio. Birdland sits on flat ground on the valley floor, so rain from a short downspout has nowhere to run. We can add extensions or splash blocks, or pipe the downspouts underground to a spot in the yard or at the curb where the water can drain away.
Yes. We cover all of Birdland, from Raven Road, Canary Drive and Blackbird Way to the streets around Woodthrush Park. Our crews also work the rest of Pleasanton, including Vintage Hills, Kottinger Ranch and Castlewood, plus Dublin and Livermore. Phone (925) 905-9555 and we will schedule a free estimate at your house.
